Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

UPDATE i going to do 25 quick sketches for the firts 25 people that post a sugestion here in the journal. the character you want. ONE PER USER

ENGLISH · I just put my deviation num 900 the Scarlet Spider cover. but i goin to make 100 more until i finish finish my new WEB page and my portfolio so i try to get to the number 1000 and when i doit i going to star errasing deviations and only let here the most profecional ones and the sketchs.

And star a way to post new art more PRO and keep interest in my other page because i think i repit myself but like some of my new draws i put a link to my blog and post all the steps i do to do a piece so if you like to see rough sketches, inks and pencils of finished pieces you have to go to my blog, if you like to see more of my work that was made since i star to draw go to my facebook, here in DA the finished pieces and original sketches, in my web page the portfolio and in my twitter i going to update all the things that happend in all my pages.

ACTUALIZACIÓN voy a hacer 25 sketches rápidos para las primeras 25 personas que sugieran un personaje aquí en el Journal, el personaje que quieran UN PERSONAJE POR USUARIO.

ESPAÑOL · Acabo de poner mi Deviation numero 900 la portada del Scarlet Spider , pero quiero hacer 100 de aqui a que termine mi nueva pag web y mi portafolio, tratare de llegar al 1000 y cuando lo haga empesar a borrar trabajos solo dejare aqui los mas profecionales y sketches.

Y comenzare a postear nuevo arte más profesional, y que crezca el interés en mis otras paginas ya que creo que de repente me repito en todas mis paginas, por ejemplo en algunos de mis últimos dibujos pongo links para qye vean el paso a paso de ellos y aqui no subo las tintas etc. asi que para paso a paso en el blog, todos mis dibujos y trabajos de diseño e ilustración al facebook, aquí lo nuevo y mas Profesional también algunos sketches y en la pagina web el portafolio y en twitter info de lo nuevo de todas las pags.

i see my deviations and i going to star delete some pencils and inks and only let the mos profecional work so i see the number 1000 is not so far so i like to reach the number before i star delete all. facebook going to be the place i upload all my works, but here only the finished and more PRO work. thats why. thanks for ask
